Eveland is regarded as one of the most talented female athletes in Carroll’s history. She was a multi-sport standout for the Lady Dragons and earned four letters in three sports — soccer, basketball and track. She helped lead the Lady Dragon soccer team to the playoffs and a district title in 2002. In basketball, she was a two-time all-district defensive player of the year. Eveland played soccer at North Carolina and was a four-year starter for the Tar Heels and was part of three college national championships.
