A 2006 graduate, Clint excelled as a dual-sport athlete in Football and Track. As an All-State receiver, he played a key role in leading his team to back-to-back State and National Championships in 2004 and 2005. He was honored as a member of the All-Decade team (2000-2009).
In Track, Clint was named the Dallas Morning News Newcomer of the Year in 2004 after becoming the District Champion in the 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles, as well as placing second in state in the 300m hurdles. He placed second again in the state in the 300m hurdles his junior year. His senior year was marked by a gold medal in the 300-meter hurdles, with a time of 36.25 seconds—the second-fastest in the country that year—along with a 5th place finish in the 110m hurdles at the state meet.
Clint graduated from Carroll High School holding records in the 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, 400m, and 4x400m relay. Continuing his athletic career at TCU on a scholarship, he won the conference championship in the 400-meter hurdles and was part of the winning Mile Relay team during his freshman year. He earned All-Conference honors in track events during both his freshman and senior years and broke TCU’s all-time record in the 400m hurdles, where it stood for 14 years from 2010 to 2024.
