Eddie was born in Amarillo, Texas 1945.

In 1950 moved to the Ft. Worth.

Graduated in 1964 from Trimble Tech High school, majoring in Graphic Arts

After graduating worked for a printing company for two years.

Drafted into the Army in 1966. Spent one year at Fort Bragg N.C. and a year in Vietnam.

Eddie met his life time best friend and married Connie Portwood in 1968.

Eddie moved to Southlake in 1976, and became Dragon fans shortly after moving to the area.

Member of the Dragon Council, Receiver of The Phil Barber Award.
