Kevin Murphy, in his 40th year of coaching swimming, started coaching in Oklahoma before settling in Texas. Murphy has built a powerhouse in Carroll Swimming. He is responsible for nine of the boys eleven state championships and three state titles on the lady dragon side, for a grand total of 12 STATE titles. Carroll swimming long ago set records for the most state championships in UIL Swimming and has shattered the record for most consecutive state championships with nine at the moment. Coach Murphy has made an indelible impact on a dynastic program.
